Belmont Kids Carousel is the last of the traditional independent family run baby stores in Newcastle. We have been open since May, 1996 and plan on continuing with our services for many more years to come!
We started our business so people had somewhere to go for the best service and the right advice and also somewhere they could trust to put their children and child safety ahead of the mighty dollar. We believe our children, all six of them, and yours deserve the best and safest of anything so therefore we try and supply you with the best products and best advice at super affordable prices and with the very best of service.
We stock a wide variety of baby goods ranging from Baby Monitors, Bouncers and Walkers, Toys and not to forget our main speciality, Prams and Car seats. We also carry a big range of safety accessories and pram accessories.
We service prams and have qualified car seat installers in store. Anything we sell we can repair or get parts for. Shane is our qualified serviceman. Anything you need he can do, no job is too hard. If the parts can be obtained he can fix it. Just try him!
Our staff are always very helpful and more than happy to assist you with anything that you may need. We operate as a team and believe that our shop should be a happy and pleasant environment for everyone, customers and staff alike, to be in. We always have a smile on our faces.
We have set up this web site to complement our store but we still believe strongly that most if not all baby goods should be purchased in store so that you can be more confident of choosing the correct product for you. As an example, if you buy a pram online and it arrives at your home in a box you have to assemble it yourself and hope you get it right. Then once it is put together you may find that it is too heavy, too short or another problem. When a pram is picked up from our store it is delivered to you fully assembled and safety checked. We also give you a lesson on the use of your pram/stroller before you leave with it. Also, all our prams come with 2 years FREE service to keep them in tip top condition for you.
When purchasing a car seat, don't pay freight to send it to your home and then go and find someone to install it for you and fork out more money. Come in and pick up your seat and not only will you save on the freight cost but we will install it for the first time FREE. (you will only pay for special extras like extensions etc.)
The money you save on the freight and install will pay for the fuel and a lovely lunch by the lake. Now that is the way to relax before the baby arrives.
